How Do I Place an Order ?

  1. Visit skimandruru.com and browse our collections
  2. If you've found an item you like, select the size, color, and quantity, then click ADD TO CART
  3. Continue shopping and add all the items you'd like
  4. Once complete, click on the top-right corner of the page to view your shopping bag, double check your order, then click on PROCEED TO CHECKOUT
  5. Checkout as guest, sign in, or create an account
  6. Enter your contact and address details, followed by a secure, private page to select payment method and enter your payment details
  7. Once done, just click on COMPLETE ORDER and we'll start packing it up for you!

How do I use a voucher code?

If you have a voucher code you can add it at checkout and your discount will be applied before you place your order.

Please note you may not be able to use some voucher codes on sale items.

Can I modify my order after it has been placed?

What if an item I want is out of stock?

If an item is out of stock, you can sign up for restock notifications.

Simply visit the product page, select your size and colour, press on the NOTIFY ME WHEN AVAILABLE button, then enter your contact details.

You'll then receive an e-mail once it's re-stocked.

There is an item missing in my order. What do I do?

Shipping & Delivery

Will I have to pay customs and import charges?

International shipments may face customs/import duties depending on the duty and tax laws for the destination country.

Handling charges may apply and are payable by the customer.

Customs duties and taxes are non-refundable once charged.

Does S&R ship to my country?

We are proud to be delivering all over the world, however, there are some countries that are not being covered by our courier partners. You can find on the checkout page itself.

Where do I find my Airway Bill (AWB) number?

You can see your Airway Bill (AWB) number by easily going to your order details through My Account. Please keep in mind that the AWB will be available only after your order is dispatched.

What payment methods do you accept?

Credit/Debit Card: at Skim and Ruru, your card number is always safe and protected using certified leading encryption technology. A secure shopping experience is a priority and a guarantee, and your details remain private and encrypted. We currently accept Visa, Mastercard and AMEX credit cards. Orders completed with credit cards will not be charged any additional fees. Available worldwide.

Exchanges

If you would like to switch your item/s, the easiest way is to return your products through our return process and make a new order.

Are bank details trusted for online payments?

We use encryption standards that secures the data you provide to us, ensures it is safe and not accessible to any third party. From your side, the most important thing is to protect your password. Your data is only used to process orders and to serve you better. It will be under no circumstances disclosed to any third party.

What is your return policy?

Returns are available for all items and must be made within 20 days of delivery. Please note that we can only accept returns for unworn items, returned with the tags on in the bag they were shipped in.

We will issue the refund within 48 hours of receiving the items, the refund may take 7-20 days to reach you, depending on your bank's processing times. You can also choose to receive your refund within 24 hours as a store voucher. Return fees may apply.

Items purchased through store vouchers will only be refunded as store vouchers.

EXCHANGES: We unfortunately currently do not offer exchanges. However, you can return your products and make a new order."

Can I return multiple orders at the same time?

No, items from separate orders must be returned in separate packages.

Can I exchange an item instead of return?

Unfortunately, we currently do not offer exchanges. However, you can return your products and place a new order.

Which items can be returned?

All items except bodysuits & swimwear. The return policies for those items that can be returned are the following:
Free UAE Returns - 20 Days

We want to ensure you are always happy with your products. As such, we offer returns up to 20 days after we receive your items. Please note that we can only accept returns for unworn items, returned with the tags on in the bag they were shipped in. We will issue the refund within 48 hours of receiving the goods, the refund may take 7-20 days to reach you, depending on your banks processing times.

Products purchased during sale events will not be refunded.

How sustainable is Skim and Ruru?

We don’t believe in overproduction, so our collections are created in a limited quantity. We are a slow fashion company. We also have products linked to an organization called Azraq, where a portion of our profits help build mangroves and coral reefs in the UAE.
